My Christmassy Bedroom!

I cannot explain how excited I am that Ive transformed my bedroom into the christmassy goodness it now is. Ive had the shittest week ever, my granddad, my bestest friend and kindest man in the whole world passed away 4 days ago, and to take my mind off it for even a second I decided to put my little tree up and transform my room. 

How cute does it look?! 

I started by popping my christmas bedding on, it's got tiny little trees houses and people skiing on it, I bought this last year from Asda, Asda literally do the BEST bedding so make sure you check it out! 

My mind is basically mush still after what happened to Granddad so I'm struggling to write and get my words out haha, so I will leave this here. Everything you see in the above pictures (apart from the yankee candle) is from Asda. Make sure you have a mooch around and check out their christmas bits, Ive bought the best things there!

I Just Fucking LOVE Autumn.

As I write this I have a winter candle burning, I've just had the best Lush bath, and it's pitch black outside. 

These are honestly my absolute favourite things about this time of year, and the fact it suddenly becomes acceptable to drink a ridiculous amount of tea. Haha priorities. I had the best day at work today, it was starting to get dark at 5, it was so bloody cold, and the whole atmosphere just felt really christmassy?! 

I am so excited for christmas it's a bit of a joke, every time I see a christmas advert (that really annoying one that goes on about catalogues) I squeal with excitement, the thought of twinkly lights and baking makes me so happy. This time of year has always been really family orientated with my dads side of the family, my earliest and favourite memories are waking up so early on a freezing October morning and heading down to the park, just because we could. Spending boxing day eating shit food and laughing with my family. There really is nothing better and I cannot wait.

Today at work I was talking to the children about Halloween, they were so excited and were thinking about what they'd like to dress up as. I remember being little and being terrified of Halloween, I think back then it wasn't really so much of a big thing? Not like now, this Halloween I plan to be very drunk. Oh how life has changed haha. 

Anyway I don't really know where I planned to go with this post, I just wanted to express my love for this time of year & hope that someone agrees with me haha. It's my birthday as well this month! Im 21?!? 20 fucking 1?! I can't quite believe it, I still feel about 15, it doesn't even feel like 6 years have passed, mental.

I Went To Lush.. Again

"You've been to Lush again?" This is what literally everyone says to me when I tell them Ive stocked up on bath bombs, I'm not even sorry. Do not care one little bit haha. 

Im sure you're well aware by now, but I absolutely ADORE Lush. Everything about it, how pretty everything looks, the smell, how they don't test on animals, everything basically aha. Ive been known to put in some pretty hefty orders on the website, but yesterday I spent the most money I've ever spent on bleedin bath bombs! £122 pounds to be exact, I know, I know. Although I did buy a huge gift set for my cousin which was £45 pound so let me off! 

I thought I would share the things I picked up because I find these posts super interesting, if Lush isn't for you then I would probably recommend ditching this post for a different one! :) to put it bluntly haha.

So I visited my localish store which is the one in Bath, it's actually pretty big and the staff in there are all lovely! I think I spoke to near enough every member of staff in there, probably because my basket was so full. Someone even came up to me and told me they've read my blog which was super lovely, (hello to you if you're reading! also leave a comment so I can see your blog because stupid me forgot to ask what yours was!!) I just love how lovely and friendly everyone is in there; you're my faves guys!

ANYWAY, enough chatting, here is everything I picked up;

The Magic Of Christmas Bubble Bar

Bloody love this one! I didn't actually like this last year which was weird? But I feel his is the most christmassy looking thing I picked up, I almost don't want to use it so I can put it on show, sad I know! This was £5.95

So White Bath Bomb

This is an old favourite, it smells exactly like apples and I can't get enough of it, I think they've redesigned it this year, I don't remember the leaf last christmas! This was £3.75

Golden Wonder Bath Bomb

Again, another old favourite, and it's bloody huge! I remember the gold turns your bath such a pretty colour, I cannot wait to use this again! This was £4.25

Father Christmas Bath Bomb

This smells exactly like snow fairy, which Im actually not that keen on, I think I used it too much last year & now I've gone off it :( even so, the bath bomb isn't as strong, and it looks so pretty. This was £3.75

Star Dust Bath Bomb

Ok so this one is super simple compared to the others, and considerably cheaper, but I love it all the same. I had loads of these last year, I was obsessed, & it has colour inside :) This was £2.95

Never Mind The Ballistics Bath Bomb

Weirdly, I have heard nothing about this bath bomb? I don't know if because I've been away I've missed something but I saw this and was like ????? what the hell are you? Haha, it's so citrusy so I can pretty much bet money no the fact It's going to be a new favourite. This was £4.25

Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb

This was another one I never used to like, but recently Ive started to like it, it's growing on me should I say. Im not gunna lie, I definitely bought it because of the amazing colours inside! 

& thats everything I managed to pick up this weekend! I did buy a big comforter shower gel but the lady in the shop somehow didn't pack it which is fab, not sure what to do about that, but hey ho, I love literally everything I picked up. Im sure there will be more posts like these, but more than likely demo's! So keep your eyes peeled for those :)

Life Update; Moving House & Embracing Christmas?!

As I write this the weather is horrific, its dark and dreary outside, I have a Christmas candle lit, channel 5's Christmas films on, I know right, already?! and my fairy lights are on. Don't judge me, but I am so excited for the winter months and Christmas in general that I'm embracing that time of year in August. How can I not?!

I wanted to kinda update you guys on what's happening in the world of Soph at the moment, what isn't happening really? So much has been going on, where to even begin;

Our house has sold! If you don't watch my Vlogs you wouldn't know this, our house was up for sale for 2 days and sold almost immediately, Ive kinda come to terms with it now, to begin with mum and me were not ok about it even being on the market, as it wasn't our choice. Long story. But now I've come to terms with the fact that eventually, i'll have to move house. The plan originally was for Mother to move into her boyfriends flat, this would mean she could save more money to eventually buy somewhere with him. It being a 1 bedroom flat though, there was no room for little old me, or the dog, so we were going to live with my Nan & Gramp, which I was so excited about, bloody love um! It meant for the first time every mum and me wouldn't be living together, but I was actually ok with that. 

Plans changed though when mum decided she really liked this house she'd seen, but it's a mighty £900 a month, if you live in London or somewhere like that you'll think £900 is cheap but where we live, this is fucking expensive. Without really thinking too much about the price or how we could budget etcetc, she applied for it and I think we've got it. it hasn't been officially confirmed, but they've asked for further details, and it says let agreed on the website, so who knows. The estate agent said if all goes through reference wise, then they could look to moving us in asap. 

That said though, Im going on holiday in 22 days. They want to either move us in when I'm on holiday, great one, or the day I'm back, even fucking better mind. Apparently you can't pick and choose when you move in, so thats fabulous! If I return from Mexico to find my mum has already moved into the house with her boyfriend I shall not be best impressed haha, that may sound really selfish but this is a big thing for us both. 

Do you know what this means though? I lose my bedroom that I've worked so hard on to make my own :( which makes me super sad, and Im also going to lose my little fire place! It's going to be so weird moving out, this is my childhood home & I don't think I'm quite ready to let go yet. 
  On the upside though, this does mean I'll be posting moving Vlogs, you may not even care haha, but at least i'll have that to look back on in years to come! :)

Apologies if personal posts are of no interest to you, I just see this as a diary for me, & it's actually quite handy to get how I'm feeling out of my system haha, even if no one else cares about what I'm writing!
