H&M Lipsticks: Sakura

I am so obsessed with buying new lipsticks at the moment, I really don't need any more as I have too many already! However I headed into H&M the other day and picked up Sakura for £7.99 to add to my collection.

Who even knew H&M did makeup? Not me! I was seriously impressed by everything they had to offer, from lipstick, to nail varnish, they had basically everything, and the colours are super pretty. At £7.99 I couldn't resist trying this lipstick, the packaging alone swayed me if I'm completely honest.. who isn't a sucker for anything gold?! amazing.

The shade itself is so so bright in person, it's not quite doing it justice in photos. For someone that rarely wears pinks, this was a bit of a shock to the system haha! I don't think I would apply this so it's 100% opaque, that scared me a little, I looked in the mirror and thought woah there okay, maybe I should pat this down a little bit! But I'm sure if you are used to wearing pinks, this won't bother you. Im actually more of a red/orange kinda girl.

The quality of the lipstick is amazing, it's so smooth and feels as if it's melting when you apply it because it's so soft and doesn't drag across your lips. Im yet to wear this throughout a full day, however as soon as I do I will be sure to let you know how well it lasts.

Have you ever tried any of the lipsticks from H&M?
Do let me know!

Lotsa Love,
Sophxo

Might just be me, but I love buying a new lipstick. Theres nothing better than opening it for the first time and seeing how perfect and untouched it is!

I don't have the biggest collection, but over the past few months I've collected a few lipsticks that have made the short cut to my acrylic holders haha! I think this area of my dressing table might be my favourite, so I thought I would take you through each one and show you how I store them. Enjoy! :)

H&M Cream Lipsticks & Blush.

I recently promised myself I would stop spending so much money, that promise was broken as soon as I saw the makeup on the H&M website. OOPS!

I picked up 2 lipsticks, and a creme blush. All of which I'm practically in love with. Just look at that packaging?!

I chose the lipsticks in the shades; Sakura, and Pomelo Juice, both of which you can find here,

Must say, i'm not a fan of the name "pomelo juice" sounds a bit, ew.. haha

As I haven't tried them yet, I can only go on previous purchases, I recently tried out one of H&M's lipsticks and I was seriously impressed, the colour is very opaque, and it stayed on for virtually the whole day, I will have swatches of these two when I finally get around to using them, I have way too many lipsticks to get through now!

*heart eyes emoji* cannot get over how beautiful the packaging is!

Going on looks alone, I think pomelo juice might be my favourite.. It reminds me of creme cup from Mac!

Pure Velvet Cream Blush in Dusty Rose.

I'm also really impressed with the creme blush I picked up, I've only ever owned one and that was from Sleek, which I never got around to using, because I always found a power blush easier?! I don't know.. I'm not going to lie, the packaging was what caught my attention. It comes in a plastic case, with gold underneath. Again, *heart eyes emoji*. But unfortunately Im not overly thrilled about the packaging, not as much as I thought I would be anyway. It feels seriously cheap, really lightweight, and if I put this in my bag for even a second I feel like it would get damaged. :(

Obviously, the packaging shouldn't be what you buy a product for haha, even if it is really beautiful! The colour of the blush itself is a pretty rose colour, which is perfect for my skin tone. I cannot wait to use it! You can find this one, here.

Have you ever tried any of H&M's make up range? I'm pretty new to it, and I want to buy everything!

H&M Cream Lipstick - Ablaze

I think I must have been living under a rock?! As I had no idea that H&M did makeup?! Literally no idea. When I think of a high street shop associated with clothing, having a range of makeup, I instantly think of Topshop, but never H&M, and oh my am I glad I discovered it!

I was gifted this lipstick from a friend, she told me her dad had been to a convention of some sort, and was given a set including a lipstick, and a nail varnish, which his daughter, my friend, kindly gave to me as she saw no use for it herself. After all, the shade of red is a vibrant one!

Before using it myself, I had a look on the H&M website, mainly to see the price, and to see any reviews. You can buy this lipstick for £7.99, which I think is very reasonable! After reading up on the reviews, I saw only positive which only made me more excited about the makeup range.

The lipstick I have is in the shade Ablaze, here is the official description from H&M; Our classic lipstick. The rich and creamy formula offers medium coverage, gliding on smoothly for full-bodied lips. With an inspiring palette of highly pigmented colours to choose from, it’s easy to match your mood and look. 3.5 g. How to use: Wear it alone, after lip primer for extra punch and staying power, or underneath a gloss to add shine.

I can only agree, the formula is so smooth and creamy, I'm known amongst my group of friends as the one who only wears matte lipstick, but I think I've now found a new love, this one leaves such a nice finish on your lips, it's not too shiny which instantly puts me off a lipstick - personally I don't like that look on me, however I've found the perfect in-between with Ablaze.

I've only used this lipstick once so far, mainly because I have so many others to choose from haha.. slight addiction there! But from what i've seen so far, I absolutely love it.

Also, can we just take a minute to appreciate the packaging?! Oh. My. In. LOVE.

Have you tried any of the makeup from H&M before? What did you think of it? Do let me know!

& if you've fallen in love with it as much as I have, you can find it here.
