My Entire Lipstick Collection.

This morning I decided to take on the task of sorting through my lipsticks. I didn't think I had that many, I mean I have more than your average person at approx 35, but compared to a lot of people this will seem like nothing. I guess we all have something we 'collect' as such, and apparently lipsticks seem to be my thing! So in sorting them all out, I thought this would be a good opportunity to show you the ones I have.

To pre-warn you, this post is going to be very photo heavy, I won't be going into detail on each shade as I'm sure you can imagine I would be here until next week! I'll be naming the shades from left to right in each photo if you're unsure; & I did begin to do swatches of each shade but my arms just aren't long enough haha.
Enjoy x

TED BAKER.
Annoyingly, Ted Baker lipsticks don't seem to have names or numbers!? so unfortunately I can't give you the names of these, but they were purchased in a set from Boots.

Red Lipstick Obsession.

After writing this I now realise I have an addiction to buying red lipsticks..

I went shopping with the boyfriend a few weeks ago, popped into Boots and picked up another 3 red lipsticks, to which he said "why are you buying 3? when they're all the same colour?" typical blokes response haha, they're clearly not the same colour! ;)

The ones I have are all Rimmel, all bar one, which is one I picked up from Topshop, on the same shopping trip, to which Matt again said "Why are you buying another one that's identical to the other 3.." haha, if he was a girl he would understand.

So the ones I have are; from left to right,

Rimmel lipsticks are my absolute favourites, they last ages, smell amazing, and in my opinion have the best shades of red, I have no idea where this red obsession has came from, but it's worked out quite well now autumn and winter are approaching - 30 especially will look amazing.
I think 107 was the first one I ever bought, I heard a lot about it, but didn't think I would actually wear it as it's pretty dark and I'd never worn something so in your face before haha. But it quickly became a favourite and I'm pretty sure last winter I wore it almost every chance I could, or so my pictures from around then tell me anyway!

Have you tried any of these before?!

Topshop Rio Rio Lipstick | Review

If you read my previous post Drugstore Makeup Haul, you would've seen how excited I was to try out my new Topshop lippy in the shade Rio Rio. I've finally had the chance to try it out and I wasn't disappointed!

Seriously though how beautiful is this lipstick?! I think I'm in love..

Topshop's range of makeup is just brilliant, isn't it? Its all such amazing quality, so I wasn't expecting to be disappointed by the Rio Rio lipstick. Firstly, lets discuss the packaging, oh my its just so effing beautiful, the colours, the box, all of which make the lipstick look so expensive. I adore the rose gold detailing, and the colour, oh my goodness the colour. On a quick first glace I would say its a bright red, but when applying and looking closely I would say it's more of an orange toned red, which for me is perfect, I'm not quite brave enough to wear a bright orange lipstick, so this is the perfect in between! I'm very much so your red lip kinda gal!

Upon purchasing it, I was a little worried that because it's matte, it would be super drying, however I couldn't have been more wrong - It has a super creamy formula and feels very soft when applying it, I'm not sure why but I much prefer matte lipsticks to glossy, I find they look more flattering on me, and in my little head something makes me think they're less likely to smudge? No idea why haha!
When I wear it, I very rarely pair it with a lip liner, purely because you really don't need to, it doesn't smudge or bleed, I only ever really wear lip liner with it if I'm going out and I want it to look more defined, or last that little bit longer. Although, the staying power in general is brill, it stays put for hours, and even when it does eventually begin fading it looks as if you're wearing a lip stain, it's still very pretty.

*The above photos were taken just after purchase*

Overall, I'm really impressed, with the lipstick, and Topshop's makeup range In general, for the price, £8.00, you're getting great value for money, and I would highly recommend trying it for yourself!
You can find Topshop's Rio Rio lipstick here.

Have you tried Topshop's lipsticks? If you have, which ones would you recommend?
