Yankee Candle Obsession!

Before writing this I didn't actually realise how many Yankee Candles I owned, however I am now well aware I have an addiction forming..

This is going to be more of an updated visual post, for you to see the scents I have, or if you're interested in the scents Yankee Candle actually do, rather than me describing the scents etc; as for one, I am terrible at describing scents, and two, I would be here for aaaages and I think you would get incredibly bored!

Top row, from left to right; Mandarin Cranberry, Vanilla Cupcake, Cranberry Pear, Christmas Rose, Christmas Cookie, Mandarin Cranberryx2.
Middle Row, from left to right; Christmas Cookiex2, Pink Sands, Sugared Apple, Garden Sweet Pea.
Bottom Row, from left to right; variety of melts, Summer Scoop, Candy Cane Lane.

Top Row, right to left; Lake Sunset.
Middle row, right to left; Snowflake Cookie, Waikiki Melon.
Bottom Row; Black Coconut.

Am I the only one who seems to buy more and more?! I really don't need them but I literally can't stop myself! They're of such an amazing quality, and manage to make my whole house smell amazing!

What's your favourite scent? definitely not asking this so I can buy more candles or anything..

Hope you enjoyed having a little peek at my collection :)

Why Lifes Been Hard.

I've been thinking about how to start this post for a while now, I'm still clueless as to how really, so all I'll say, is;

Life has been difficult recently.

You're probably wondering why I'm writing this, well in all honestly I'm not too sure. I think it's so you have some sort of understanding of why I may not have been myself recently. There's been a few little mentions in certain posts where I've kind of said what's been happening, but not fully explained. I think I owe this to you reading, and to anyone who has been, or will go through the same thing.

Go back to a year and a half ago, life was pretty good! I was healthy, enjoyed my job, and was happy. I had an enjoyable home life, and was comfortable in myself. A few months later things started to gradually change, the atmosphere around my house was changing, my health was changing, and my happiness was changing.

I couldn't quite put my finger on why there was such an atmosphere at home, no one told me anything because they thought not knowing would be best for me, wrong. It wasn't until my mum sat me down and told me that she and her boyfriend of 17 years, who had been in my life since I was a baby, were splitting up. We had a lovely home, a lovely family of 5, and I genuinely didn't notice anything was wrong.

The next few months were literally the hardest months of my life. I had to move out of our family home, say goodbye to all the memories in that house, I remember spending that day going from room to room and just thinking about all the christmas' we'd spent opening presents in the living room, the times me and sister would use our bedding to slide down the stairs when we were little, the silly little things that you don't appreciate until your life has to change. My step dad, moved into his own house with my sister, and I moved into my own house with my mum. The family had literally split down the middle and it's the hardest thing to get used to. I miss not having my sister here, we were inseparable and i knew what she was doing every second of every day, we were always together, and now I'm lucky if I see her twice a week for a few hours. She was and still is my best friend. going to move on from this little bit as I'm getting more emosh than i thought i would haha!

Because of this, my health took a turn and my eating got really bad again, I've blogged about my journey with this so I'm not going to go into too much detail, but I became quite poorly, due to not concentrating on what's best for me, and not recognising that I needed to take time out for myself, instead I spent months making sure everyone else was ok, not thinking about my own happiness.
It took a lot for me to realise I needed to help myself, and when I did, it was like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders.

I made sure I took a day a week, to indulge in everything I loved, makeup, blogging, pamper evenings, seeing friends, nights out.. and doing so resulted in me meeting my amazing boyfriend, who has been so supportive during everything. He's seen me struggle and hes seen me progress, and he's not judged me throughout. I can't thank him enough for what hes done for me.

Not forgetting you guys either! The comments you leave me, the emails of support i've received, have done more for me than you will ever know. You truly are such lovely, lovely, people. You've helped shape me back into the person I was before this all happened, and I appreciate that more than I can explain. I was in such a dark place, and now looking at how far I've come, I've really surprised myself!

What this whole thing has made me realise, is that life is going to take horrible turns, you can't avoid it. But you can be prepared for it. Back then, i thought my life was great, nothing could go wrong, and it would stay that way forever. I've never been through anything like that, I didn't know how to deal with my emotions, and why would I? Life will never be easy, but what you can do is make the most of every moment you have, I now live my life making the best out of every situation. I think it's the best way.

So this is why theres been a lack of blog posts, and im sorry about that, but now i can honestly say,

I'm Happy.

and that's partly down to you guys, so thank you for being so supportive, I love you all an awful lot

<3

Monthly Favourite | Youtuber - Fabulous Hannah

There are so many Youtubers out there now a days Isn't there? I find I stick to the same ones, very rarely finding new ones because I love the ones I already watch (this sounds really creepy)

However, whilst looking through the huge amounts of beauty gurus, vloggers, foodies, I found someone who is just deeeeelightful, and I know you'll love her and her videos as much as I do.

If you haven't seen any of Hannah's videos, where have you been basically? Hannah has finally had her little break and lots more people know about her now, which is just brilliant as she thoroughly deserves it.

Who is she I hear you say?! Well, Hannah is a hilarious, lovely lovely girl who comes from Essex (not your typical stereotypical Essex girl I will add) She creates and posts lovely little videos about thing's she's been loving, room tours, hauls, foodie things, I mean I don't think there's anything Hannah could do that I wouldn't enjoy watching. She is literally one of the most hilarious people I know, (again sounds reeeeeally weird.. I don't KNOW her but you get my jist) and this shines through in her videos, making them super fun to watch and very entertaining. We basically have the same sense of humour, which I love, as not many people understand mine which leads to a lot of confusion and people thinking I'm being incredibly weird. Haha.

Hannah is literally the best friend who I've never met, which sound really weird to say haha.. but she's just herself throughout her videos and I can relate to her so much.

I've been watching Hannah's videos from the early days, when she had under 1000 subscribers, and It's insane how far she's come, and how quickly It's all happened. Claps hands for Hannah!

If I still haven't convinced you to subscribe to this girl, then you're generally just going to miss out. She's been described as a mini Louise from SprinkleofGlitter, I couldn't agree more. We all love Louise, don't we?

She's just lovely, so head on over and have a little mish around.. You honestly wont be disappointed.

Who have you been watching recently?

A Peek Into My Bedroom.

After moving house in January, (not through choice), I was forced to give up my old home, which we had decorated just how we liked it, to our own personal tastes. This wasn't because we were thrown out or anything, my mum and step dad separated, so myself and mum moved on to a brand new life. Meaning, lots of decorating to be done in the new place!

I completely decorated my new room myself, (lets be honest, painting walls white isn't too difficult), I added all the little personal touches myself, the candles, which after taking pictures of my room I've decided I have way too many of! and the never ending white ornaments!
I went for white and pastel theme, I think it looks really clean and fresh, and I love how It's turned out! So, I thought I would share it with you; apologies for not being able to include prices or where everything is from, I've had the majority of it for years!

Glitter iPhone Decal

How effing AMAZING is this?!? I am absolutely obsessed!

I thought I would share this with you all, as I'm in love with it and I've had so many questions about it!

This is my iPhone 6, with a glittery back/front. I will say this is a sticker and not a case.  I'm really impressed with how durable it is, you'd think being a sticker, it would peel off, or the glitter would rub off. But I've not experienced either. It's of such high quality, and doesn't leave a sticky mark on your phone.

Mine had to be shipped from America, which made it a little more expensive, however I would say it's 100% worth it, as, well, just look for yourself. It is beauuuuutiful!

It took just over a week to arrive, and the company make sure you know the whereabouts of your order throughout the delivery process. Which was great considering I was so excited for it to arrive haha!

Make sure you check them out, they're a brilliant company, not only do they offer glitter decals, but phone cases too, have a little look, you'll fall in love with their products!

Prior Park Gardens | Bath

Yesterday I was lucky enough to visit Prior Park Gardens in Bath - and I'm so glad I did!

With it being only 15 minutes from my house, it took no time at all to get there which was good as it was a last minute decision! Myself and Mac (my friend) arrived and paid only £6.80 (I think) to get in, which is actually relatively cheap considering the amazing things you're able to see!

I thought I would share a few pictures with you, it's so so beautiful, if you are ever in the Bath area you must give it a visit, its so peaceful and pretty!
